Summer and Fall NFL Flag & Soccer

Neighborhood Sports is the official NFL Youth Flag Football recreational league in Texas with league locations in Austin Hyde Park Quarries, Cedar Park/Leander, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Steiner Ranch, SW Austin - Regents, SW Austin - Circle C, Westlake, Kyle/Buda, Dallas Highland Village, and North San Antonio. We are home to the 3-time National Champions in the 12-14 Girls Division (2006, 2008, 2011) and the 9-11 Boys Regional Champions (2008, 2011) and 9-11 Boys National Runner-up (2008).

Spring Leagues: Games on Saturdays, March 23, - May 11, 2013.

Summer Leagues: Games on June 10, - July 22, 2013 (Summer leagues are based on the players current grade on May 1, 2013.

Fall Leagues: Games on Saturdays, September 21 - November 2, 2013. Fall Divisions are based on a players grade on September 1, 2013.

NFL Elite League: This league is made up of teams from different Neighborhoods (Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, SW Austin, Steiner Ranch...)who play in an interleauge league. Players sign up as part of a team and compete at a high level of competition. Teams are in 1/2nd grade, 3/4th grade, and 5/6th grade.

NFL Flag Football Divisions: Co-ed Pre K/K, 1/2 grade, 3/4 grade, 5/6 grade, 7-8,9 grade. Register individually, with friends, or as a team.

Girls Only NFL Flag Football League: Girls only league games are inter-leagued and will play at multiple league locations. Divisions: Teams separated by Age (8-11), (12-14), and (15-17). Register individually, with friends, or as a team
Practice: 1 weekly practice. (60-90 minutes) (Day/time set by coach) Players contacted and begin practice 2 weeks prior to first game. (Fall - All City Centex Tournament November 10, 2012. Spring - All City Centex Tournament May 18, 2013) Tournaments: Teams play in local playoff tournament with optional city, regional and national tournaments

Mail / Fax- Point your curser to the "Forms" button on top of page & click, choose the paper form of activity you want to register, print, and mail to address on form. Payment can be by credit card, check, or money order. Registrations can be faxed to 257-3524 or 761-4832. Payment on faxed registrations is with a credit card.

InPerson- Find the nearest inperson registration location listed on website...you may call us at 512 918-FLAG or 512 257-PLAY. Payment on inperson registration is with cash, check, money order, or credit card.

Fall 2013 season registration now open!

Neighborhood Sports is now registering for its Fall soccer season in Steiner Ranch. The program offers kids, ages 4-12, an opportunity to play recreational soccer, locally in your neighborhood.

Soccer age brackets: 4 yr Co-ed, 5 yr Co-ed, 6 yr Co-ed, 7 yr Boys, 7 yr Girls, 8-9 yr Boys, 8-9 yr Girls, 10-12 yr Boys, 10-12 yr Girls (Fall 2013 default age bracket based on player age as of September 1, 2013).

Game location: Steiner Ranch Fields

Practices: practice fields are chosen by the head coach & include conveniently located fields in Steiner Ranch, River Place, and Grandview Hills

Practice: One weekly practice. Day, time, and field location set by the head coach - most teams practice in Steiner Ranch; others in River Place or Grandview Hills.

Regular registration ends August 17, 2013 but may end sooner if the bracket becomes full; whichever comes first.

Soccer Registration Fee: Head Coach Volunteer Child Fee $110, Regular Player Fee $135

What You Get: Includes full uniform of: City, Club, or International Replica Jersey plus matching shorts and socks, Regular Season Games, World Cup Tournament, Trophy, Referees, Field Facility

Important Dates:

August 17, 2013 - Last day of regular registration

August 24, 2013 - Preseason Soccer Tournament

September 7, 2013 - Coaches Meeting & Training - Bella Mar Field 9am

September 14, 2013 - First game of the season.

Regular Season is September 14, 2013 through October 26, 2013

World Cup Tournament XIII: November 9-10, 2013.

Soccer Picture Day: September 21, 2013

Play both, Soccer & NFL Youth Flag Football for only $220, a savings of $30. Open to ages 7 yrs of age (as of September 1, 2013) and up. Now you can play Soccer & NFL Flag Football on the same weekend. Games will be scheduled at opposite times of the day so there will be no conflict. To facilitate game scheduling, the league will assign dual sport players to common teams.

Cedar Park Flag Football Champions It was a day full of quick cuts, deep passes and old fashioned teamwork. On November 18, young flag football players from across the country gathered in Orlando to compete in the NFL FLAG National Tournament of Champions.
